Kuranda, Self-Drive, Scenic Rail up & Skyrail down: Spend 2.5 hours or 4.5 hours in Kuranda. In the morning drive your car the Skyrail Station at Smithfield, a 20 minute drive North of Cairns city. Park and meet the coach here at 9:10am. Park here for the day is no charge. A coach will transfer you from Skyrail Smithfield car park to Freshwater Connection Railway Station. Journey to Kuranda by Train then have free time in Kuranda. At a pre-booked time head to the Skyrail Kuranda Station and journey back down the mountain.
