DAY 1: KURANDA TRAIN & SKYRAIL

Tour Itinerary:

• Complimentary hotel pick-up, time advised at time of booking.
• Coach transfer to Freshwater Railway Station
• Kuranda Scenic Rail departs at 9.45am
• Free time in Kuranda
• Return by Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Experience at 3.30pm
• Depart on return transfer to hotel at 4.40pm.

Kuranda Scenic Railway:
Start your day aboard the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway, meandering to the Barron Falls and through mountainside tunnels. This breathtaking journey on one of the world's most scenic train routes will take you through hand-hewn tunnels and across bridges with amazing views. Stop at Barron Gorge to view the falls before arriving at Kuranda station.

• The Train departs Cairns Railway at 8:30am or 9:30am and Freshwater 8:45am or 9:45am and departs from Kuranda at 2pm or 3:30pm.
• Allow 1.5 hours for this journey.

Kuranda:
The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the "Village in the Rainforest". Visit the Heritage Markets, which operate daily, or perhaps visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Birdworld or the Kuranda Koala Gardens (own expense). Lunch at own expense.

Skyrail:
At the scheduled time, board Skyrail for the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. Gliding just metres above the rainforest canopy in comfortable 6 person gondola cabins, take advantage of the two stops en-route (Barron Falls and Red Peak Stations) to enjoy a walk through the rainforest or visit the Rainforest Interpretive Centre.

• A one-way Skyrail Experience will take approximately 90 minutes to complete, spanning 7.5kms over pristine rainforest.
• Your journey ends at Skyrail’s Caravonica Lakes station where your coach will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation

Diamond View Gondolas provides guests with amazing panoramic views of the tropical landscape, Coral Sea and rainforest canopy, but also the unique perspective of looking straight down from the treetops to the forest floor through the glass flooring for the entire Skyrail experience. Taking a maximum of 5 persons and a waiting time of 7 minutes.

DAY 2: CAPE TRIBULATION IN A DAY

Join Cairns Tours for a day exploring the rainforest and amazing landscapes of the Cape Tribulation wilderness area.

DEPARTURES: (Daily)

• Return hotel transfers starting approx 7am from Cairns and Northern Beaches (Trinity Beach, Palm Cove), 8am from Port Douglas
• Returns: 5pm to Port Douglas and 6pm to Cairns approx

• Mossman Gorge
  Visit the Mossman Gorge Gateway Centre and enjoy an indigenous presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people, before boarding your eco shuttle for the transfer into Mossman Gorge. Your driver/guide will take you for a guided walk, sharing their knowledge of this enchanting rainforest environment.
  
• Cape Tribulation
  Walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach, where the rainforest meets the reef and admire the coastline and fringing coral reef from the Kulki Lookout.
  
• Tropical Lunch
  With special access at a private rainforest property, enjoy a short walk along a delightful rainforest creek before a delicious tropical lunch. Choice of quality steak, fish or vegetarian meal with fresh salads and fruit platter, followed by coffee or Daintree Tea.
  
• Alexandra Lookout
  After winding through the rainforest of the Alexandra Range, enjoy this spectacular lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea.
  
• Daintree River Cruise
  Reach an understanding of this wildlife environment for 1 hour, habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile.

DAY 3: SILVERSWIFT Outer Barrier Reef Cruise

Silverswift is ready to whisk you away for a day of adventure!

• From Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 8:30am. Boarding commences 7:45am.
• Returns at 4:30pm approx

• Silverswift is a luxury 29 metre catamaran custom-designed for the thrill of diving and snorkelling.
• Visit 3 sites at the Outer Barrier Reef (Flynn, Pellowe, Milln and/or Thetford Reefs) and spend a leisurely 5 hours at play.

Silverswift features spacious sundeck areas, hot freshwater showers, change rooms and a licensed bar. The large dive and snorkel platform provides easy water access for all water activities and the state-of-the-art ride control system helps ensure a smooth journey, even when travelling at up to 32 knots.

Certified divers can enjoy up to 3 dives, with introductory divers able to do a second dive (own expense). Adventure snorkellers can explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures.
