Day One: Quicksilver
Quicksilver takes you to Agincourt Reef Pontoon, a magnificent ribbon reef where you can snorkel, dive or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-sub.

The Platform at Agincourt Reef:
Floating like an island in a coral sea the platforms have tables for you to enjoy lunch, undercover seating, fresh water showers and change rooms to allow you to enjoy your day. There is also a water powered lift to allow easy access for all passengers.

Semi Submersible Coral Viewing:
If you would like to stay dry, then you can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver sub. The semi submersibles cruise slowly through the colourful coral gardens giving passengers the opportunity to experience a snorkellers-eye view of the marine life without getting wet.

The semi-sub experience takes approximately 20 minutes and includes an informed commentary on the marine life observed during the journey and an overview of the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Semi-subs depart every twenty minutes from the rear of the platform. Announcements are made to prompt you before departure.

Underwater Observatory:
You can also see the coral and watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique viewing platform and underwater observatory located directly in front of the platform. From here, you can also view "first time" divers taking part in introductory dives and snorkellers.

Snorkelling:
Snorkelling is one of the best ways to view the incredible underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef, and Quicksilver's friendly staff are on hand to show you how. On your way out to Agincourt Reef you can view an instructional video on how to snorkel to teach you the right techniques.

Upon reaching the outer reef, you can obtain your snorkelling equipment from the storage containers on the platform. Lycra stinger suits are also available to hire. Fish feeding takes place from the platform so you can view the marine life up close.

If you would like to learn a little more about the Great Barrier Reef whilst snorkelling, you may like to try one of the optional Snorkelling Expeditions with a qualified Marine Biologist. This is at an additional cost.

Lunch:
Enjoy a hot and cold five star tropical buffet, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks. The platform has tables for you to enjoy lunch and undercover seating.

Day Two: Tjapukai, Skyrail & Kuranda Train

Tour Itinerary:

8:30am Complimentary hotel pick ups
9:15am Entry to Tjapukai, which includes all theatres, the dancers, boomerang/spear throwing and bush medicine
11:30am Skyrail Cableway
2.5 hours free time in Kuranda
3:30pm Kuranda Scenic Rail departure
5pm return transfer to hotel

Skyrail: The Skyrail experience, spanning 7.5kms over pristine rainforest, allows you to explore the wonders of an ancient tropical rainforest and learn about one of the most botanically fascinating and diverse areas on earth.

Gliding just metres above the rainforest canopy in comfortable 6 person gondola cabins, the Skyrail journey immerses you in an intimate rainforest experience where you’ll see, hear, smell and become part of the tropical rainforest environment.

Your Skyrail experience will commence or conclude at either the Caravonica or Kuranda, depending on your direction of travel.

A one-way Skyrail Experience will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
You can spend as much time at you like at Skyrail’s rainforest mid-stations enjoying the facilities and rainforest atmosphere.
Plan to spend approximately 20-30 minutes.

Caravonica Terminal: Skyrail’s Caravonica Terminal is located just 15 minutes from Cairns and 50 minutes from Port Douglas and provides a convenient embarkation or disembarkation point and are conveniently serviced by regular coach transfer pick-ups.

Red Peak Station: Your gondola will descend through the canopy layers and take you deep in the forest. Complimentary guided boardwalk tours are available throughout the day.

Barron Falls Station: On approach to Barron Falls Station you will enjoy spectacular views of the Barron Gorge, a deep chasm lined with dense rainforest vegetation and a state-of-the-art Rainforest Interpretation Centre.

Kuranda: From Barron Falls, your Skyrail experience continues through the mountains before gliding over the mighty Barron River and arriving at Skyrail’s Kuranda Terminal. Skyrail’s Kuranda Terminal is located a short walk from the famous village of Kuranda where you’ll be able to enjoy the local attractions and shopping. 
   

Kuranda Scenic Railway:
The famous Kuranda Scenic Railway was built over 100 years ago and winds its way through the tropical mountain ranges between Cairns and Kuranda. The Train departs Cairns Railway at 8:30am or 9:30am and Freshwater 8:45am or 9:45am and departs from Kuranda at 2pm or 3:30pm. Allow 1.5 hours for this journey.

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park:
A cultural experience, located within walking distance of Skyrail’s Caravonica terminal. Tjapukai combines dance, history and legends to create a dynamic interpretation of 40,000 years of culture. Tjapukai is open 9am-5pm daily and allow 2 hours here.
